Empty Bowls
A simple meal of soup and bread to raise awareness about hunger in our community, and a Food Bank signature event. Held annually in March at Rodef Shalom Congregation in Oakland, Empty Bowls features soups donated from Pittsburgh’s restaurants and caterers, entertainment, silent auction of world-class ceramic art, kids’ activities, and each ticket-holder chooses a beautiful hand made ceramic bowl to take home.
