Hunger Awareness Day
Held the first Tuesday in June, Hunger Awareness Day is marked nationwide to bring attention to childhood hunger, especially as the school year ends, along with school meals for hungry kids. The Food Bank has chosen to mark the day with an annual Hunger Awareness Day Awards event, where we say a special thank you to some of our community partners who have made outstanding contributions to the work of the Food Bank and the fight against hunger. You are invited to join us, or you can choose to hold your own event.
